RegressIt is offered for free as a public service. There are separate linear regression versions of the program file for PC's and Macs, and also a linear+logistic version for the PC. There are separate PC and Mac versions of the test model files, although either version can operate on the other's files. The PC and Mac versions of the program produce the same output except for some minor differences in graph and comment formatting. The PC version will run in all versions of Excel dating back to 2010. There are separate Mac versions for Excel 2011 and for later versions (2016 and later) because Excel 2011 for the Mac does not support a custom ribbon interface. If your computer does not have U.S. English language and number format settings, please see the additional instructions for number formatting.

If you have concerns about security, please note that successive versions of RegressIt have been distributed to the public on this web site without incident since 2014, and it is well known. Just google "Excel regression add-in." It has been used in teaching at Duke University and many other schools, and it is also widely used by practitioners. Its only interactions with your computer outside of Excel are to place text on the clipboard or write text to CSV files when interacting with RStudio. It does not embed any executable code in Excel files in which analysis is performed. It merely adds ordinary worksheets to the files. If you want to remove it from your computer, you only need to delete the program file. See the terms of use page for more details on security.
